Every letter is written by our founder, Brittany! This isn't a mass-produced product - it's a labor of love. She will never take on more Pen Pals than she can personally write to each month.
When you sign up, you'll fill out a short questionnaire about your child — their name, age, interests, and what character traits they're working on. Second sentence update: We use this to craft each letter, so every message feels like it was written just for them.
Absolutely. Your child's safety is our top priority. All letters are mailed directly to you, the parent, at your home address. You always see the letter first. We never collect information directly from children, and we never share any family data with third parties.
We serve families with children ages 5-12: Movement Guides: Ages 5-8 Pen Pal Program & Character Building Guides: Ages 8-12 Multi-Age Family Guides: Ages 5-12 (perfect for families with multiple children) Every child is different! Many families use our resources with kids outside these ranges based on individual reading level and interests.
Yes! Our Replies and Premium plans include the option for your child to write back — either by mail or through the parent portal. Our founder personally reads and responds to every reply. It's one of the most magical parts of the program.
We understand — every child is different. You can cancel your subscription at any time with no commitment or penalty. If something isn't working, we'd also love to hear your feedback so we can adjust the letters to better fit your child.
